“Homeless for the Holidays”

How is homelessness both a personality responsibility and a political issue? Federal and local levels of government have instituted a number of plans to end homelessness over the last 20 years. Is ending homelessness really possible?

“The Poor Have Only Christmas”

A service on the obligation of those who have more to give freely to those who have less, especially during the holiday season of hope and renewal.  The goal of this service will not be to arouse guilt, but instead to concentrate on awareness and compassion.

And so it begins, what “it” is remains to be seen.  The week of thanksgiving though will give us some moments for thankfulness with a look at the near and far future ahead.
