Everyone present was so at home in your beautiful building. I could not imagine a more perfect setting for our event.  — Joan

My parents were celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary and we wanted my daughter (who is a Christian minister) to officiate the ceremony. My parents are Catholic and their church frowned on a service not officiated by a Catholic priest so we chose to have the ceremony at the Unitarian Universalist church in Park Forest. They accommodated us perfectly. It was an incredible blessing to see my parents renew their vows as my daughter officiated a ceremony we put together for them on our own. The musical director, Chris Ussery, played several songs on the piano that were my mother’s favorites and we displayed a slide show of their 60 years of being together. The back ground of the wooded area that surrounds the church was stunning. It could not have been more perfect!! –Diane
