The UUCC Waking Up Group

The Waking Up Discussion Group’s examination of Heather McGhee’s THE SUM OF US concludes on June 22nd at 7:30 p.m. (Note: This is the 4th Tuesday, not the last.)

We will focus on Chapter 10, and how well the author succeeds at explaining how systemic racism hurts everyone, including whites.

Also, because some of our group want to do more than read and talk, we will discuss ways to resist/ counter systemic racism in our own communities. Please bring ideas.
