UUCC has more than just great Sunday services. We also have entertainment, and other spiritual events. Feel free to drop in.
- Edgar’s Place Coffee House
Edgar’s Place is a folk music venue, established in 1992 and named for Reverend Edgar Peara, UUCC minister emeritus. It is one of the finest folk music listening rooms in the Midwest. Edgar’s has hosted all varieties of folk music including talented local musicians as well as nationally known acts. Currently, concerts are held four times a year, from October through April. Performances usually begin at 8:00 p.m. on the 2nd Saturday of the month. Check this website’s calendar for show dates. We hope to see you at one of our upcoming concerts. - Winter Solstice Candlelight Labyrinth
The Winter Solstice is the shortest day of the year, the border between the past and coming years; the past, present, and future. It represents new beginnings and great new possibilities, leaving behind what does not serve us, and embracing that which does. Come celebrate the New Year at our Candle Labyrinth. Enjoy a calming, yet invigorating meditation. Peacefully walk the labyrinth to consider the passing year, and the coming new year. A $10 donation is requested from non-UUCC members.
