UUCC has more than just great Sunday services.  We also have entertainment, and other spiritual events.  Feel free to drop in.

    • Edgar’s Place Coffee House
Edgar’s Place is a folk music venue, established in 1992 and named for Reverend Edgar Peara, UUCC minister emeritus.  It is one of the finest folk music listening rooms in the Midwest.  Edgar’s has hosted all varieties of folk music including talented local musicians as well as nationally known acts.  Currently, concerts are held 6-7 times a year, from October through May.  Performances usually begin at 7:30 p.m. on the 2nd Saturday of the month.  Check this website’s calendar for show dates.  Also check out the Edgar’s Place Facebook Fan Page and click “like” to join. We hope to see you at one of our upcoming concerts.  Edgar’s Place: Past and Present.
    • EDGAR’S PLACE COFFEE HOUSE proudly presents it’s SPECTACULAR 2015-2016 SEASON

Shows run from October through May and are the 2nd Saturday of each month at 7:30 PM. There will not be a show in the month of January. (stay home and cuddle with someone you love; it’s gonna be a lot colder then…) The cover charge is $15.00 and includes snacks, coffee and tea. There are additional beverages and homemade baked goods available for purchase. Come check out top notch performers in an intimate and friendly venue nestled in a beautiful woodland setting.

    • Winter Solstice Candlelight Labyrinth
The Winter Solstice is the shortest day of the year,  the border between the past and coming years; the past, present, and future.  It represents new beginnings and great new possibilities, leaving behind what does not serve us, and embracing that which does.  Come celebrate the New Year at our Candle Labyrinth.  Enjoy a calming, yet invigorating meditation.  Peacefully walk the labyrinth to consider the passing year, and the coming new year. A $10 donation is requested from non-UUCC members.
