The Water Ceremony/ Communion Service is an excellent opportunity for Unitarian Universalist congregations to express their commitment to our Sixth Principle: We covenant to affirm and promote the goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all.
Bring some water from your homes or travels this year. We are honoring water and our dependence on Her. And like water, we blend together in community and will honor our dependence on each other. Bring your coats and gloves as we may go outside for part of the water ritual.
