“Memories in Song”    March 23rd at UUCC     3:00 – 5:00pm      $10 Suggested Donation

One Man Band, Steve Lydell, (along with his partner, Trisha) will be donating his time and talent, performing for UUCC on March 23rd to help raise money for remaining flood expenses. Classically trained on voice, piano and guitar, Steve has been performing on stage since 1963 and knows the words and music to over 5,000 songs. Bring your dancing shoes and make requests! As a soloist, Steve sings and plays songs from AC DC to ZZ Top including current country and pop songs. He has worked with Linda Rondstadt and Chris Montez and has opened for Johnny Cash, The Who and others.

He and Trisha perform at senior centers and nursing homes in Illinois and Indiana. Steve creates the songs upon requests taken by Trisha who roams the crowd with a wireless mic encouraging folks to sing along. Come on out and have some fun! Drinks and snacks will be available.
