DESCRIPTION:Rainbow Cafe is a social event that provides a safe and welcomi
 ng environment for single or partnered gay\, lesbian\, bisexual\, and tran
 sgender adults and their allies\, by creating a space where they are able 
 to socialize outside of the usual bars.\n\nThe cafe is open every 3rd Frid
 ay of the month from 6:30 - 10:30pm.\n\nThe Café will meet on February 1
 9th and the movie shown will be "Milk." Milk is a 2008 American biographic
 al film based on the life of gay rights activist and politician Harvey Mil
 k\, who was the first openly gay person to be elected to public office in 
 California\, as a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.\n\nOri
 ginally the movie "The Line of Beauty" was scheduled to be shown\, but tha
 t was postponed until next month's meeting.
