The path of immigrants in America has not been all easy money and streets paved with gold.  Besides leaving behind family and beloved homelands, immigrants have often been subjected to discrimination, overwork, low wages and substandard living conditions. We will look at the treatment of various immigrant groups when they first arrived in the U.S., and consider how we, as UU’s, can help to welcome our new neighbors from other lands.
